Another very important factor when it comes to the prevention of yeast infection is how you bath. Well, actually if at all possible try not to bath and only shower. If you have to bath though, do it quick. No spending hours soaking in a bubble bath. I know it is heaven, but you are going to pay for it with a yeast infection.
So, this is very important. You must not use any of the "antibacterial" soaps that are so popular. It kills all the germs, true enough, unfortunately also the "good" germs and fungi that has to keep the Candida Albicans (the fungus that gives you the yeast infection) under control.
Kill those bacteria and fungi and the Candida Albicans can grow unchecked. This result in an overgrowth and that is when you get the bad yeast infection symptoms. So as part of your routine for the prevention of yeast infection do not use antibacterial soap.
